Cherryland Humane Society

Social media content for Cherryland Humane Society of Traverse City, Michigan (CHS), in collaboration with Michigan State University, College of Communication Arts and Sciences, and the Department of Advertising and Public Relations (MSU A+PR), and with funds from a CHS generous donor.

CHS requested the creation of social media templates and assets for their print and social media marketing efforts. They wanted to create print and social media materials that invite people to donate, volunteer, and adopt a pet. I designed one vertical (story) template, one vertical (feed) template, and one vertical video template, accompanied by more than 100 graphics, and about 10 ready-to-use assets for in-brand compelling posts.

The objective was to design assets that could be manipulated by the Cherryland Humane Society staff and volunteers as an easy-to-use, drag-&-drop, and mix-&-match template, yet remain aesthetically compelling and in brand regardless of who uses them and how they use them. The templates were made using Adobe Photoshop but every object was also exported as other file formats so they could be used in other license-free software like Canva.

The social media posts, along with collateral print materials would inform the organization's social media followers and the general public about the non-profit organization goals through engaging social media content and materials that are to be used in future public events.
